Section 183.710 - Definitions for ORS 183.710 to 183.730 As used in ORS 183.710 to 183.730, unless the context requires otherwise:
(1) "Interim committee" means a committee of the Legislative Assembly that is scheduled to meet when the Legislative Assembly is not in session and that has subject-matter jurisdiction over the state agency that has adopted a rule, as set forth in the subject-matter jurisdiction list developed under ORS 183.724.(2) "Rule" has the meaning given that term in ORS 183.310.(3) "State agency" means an agency as defined in ORS 183.310.Formerly 171.705; 2009 c. 81, § 1 183.710 to 183.730 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 183 or any series therein by legislative action.
