Section 335-7-4-.02 - Facility Permit

All public water systems must possess a current Water Supply Permit authorizing the furnishing of water for potable use prior to beginning operation, unless specifically exempted by 335-7-1-.02. All general and special conditions that are part of such permit must be met. All non-permitted systems or facilities meeting the definition of a public water system are prohibited from providing water for human consumption.

(a) Facility permits for community systems are issued for a period of six years.
(b) Facility permits for non-community and NTNC systems are issued for a period of ten years.
