Before the Court is appellant's July 5, 2017 request for "ex parte hearing on amended application for writ of injunction and request for emergency relief." By letter dated June 21, 2017, we notified appellant that his amended application for writ of injunction and request for emergency relief would be decided with the merits of the case on submission of the appeal. By order dated June 6, 2017, we denied appellant's request for oral argument. The appeal and amended application for writ of injunction and request for emergency relief will be submitted on the briefs. See TEX. R. APP. P. 39.1(d). Accordingly, we DENY appellant's July 5, 2017 request for ex parte hearing.
