Summary
In Williams v. Brewster, 117 Wis. 370, 93 N.W. 479, the supreme court of Wisconsin had under consideration the precise question involved here, namely, the joinder of an action to enforce the liability against stockholders for an illegal dividend with one against the directors for the statutory liability arising by reason of the declaration and payment of such dividend.
