ORDER


Pending before the Court in the above-entitled matter is Plaintiff Marvin Joseph Williams' Motion for a Writ of Mandamus and Motion to Expedite Proceedings. The motion seeks an order from this court clarifying the record of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe regarding a criminal indictment and related proceedings. Mr. Williams alleges the Nez Perce Tribe's actions violate his constitutional rights.

The Court has reviewed Mr. Williams' filings and HEREBY REQUESTS responsive briefing from the Assistant United States Attorney, Mrs. Traci Whelan, and the Tribal Prosecutor be filed within twenty-one days of the date of this order. The Clerk of the Court is DIRECTED to served both the Assistant United States Attorney and the Nez Perce Tribal Prosecutor with Mr. Williams' filings in this matter along with this order.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
