AL M. WILLIAMS, Appellant v. LADERA, Appellee

On Appeal from the 14th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DC-19-17458

ORDER

KEN MOLBERG, JUSTICE.

After appellant filed his brief on July 25, 2022, the Court notified him that the brief was deficient and directed him to file an amended brief correcting the noted deficiencies. By order dated March 3, 2023, we granted appellant's fifth motion for an extension of time to file an amended brief, ordered him to file the brief on or before April 3rd, and cautioned him that failure to do so would result in an order that the appeal be submitted on appellant's deficient brief.

Before the Court is appellant's April 3, 2023 sixth motion for an extension of time to file an amended brief. While the Court is sympathetic to appellant's continued health issues, this appeal must move forward. Accordingly, we DENY appellant's motion and ORDER the appeal submitted on appellant's July 25th brief. Appellee shall file its brief on or before May 4, 2023.
