ORDER


On June 6, 2002, Plaintiff, acting pro se, filed his complaint initiating this action and paid the $150 filing fee. No further progress in the action is reflected in the court's docket.

By order dated June 29, 2004, the court ordered the plaintiff to show cause, on or before July 25, 2004, why this action should not be dismissed for failure to serve the defendants in a timely manner. Doc # 4. No response to the order to show cause having been received during the time specified, this action is now dismissed. The clerk is directed to close the file.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
