HIGHWAYS AND STREETS, § 541defective sidewalk, sufficiency of evidence. Pedestrian injured by falling on defective walk was properly granted judgment, where hole had existed in sidewalk for over a year on a busy street in the business section of the city, several witnesses testified to falls they had sustained at same spot to show knowledge of defect on part of the city, and at time plaintiff was injured the sidewalk was crowded with people.

Appeal from Circuit Court of Winnebago county; Hon. THOMAS E. GILL, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in this court at May term, 1940.
