Watts v. Koncelik

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District
May 21, 1999
750 So. 2d 651 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1999)

Opinion

No. 97-03441.

Opinion filed May 21, 1999.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Pinellas County; David Seth Walker, Judge.

Beth M. Gordon of Parrillo, Weiss O'Halloran, Miami, for Appellant.

Paul Castagliola and Matthew G. Schindel of Riden, Earle Kiefner, P.A., St. Petersburg, for Appellee.

Appellant/cross-appellee, Kathy Jane Watts, challenges the trial court order that granted appellee/cross-appellant, Rebecca A. Koncelik, a new trial limited to the issues of past lost wages and past medical expenses. We affirm on the authority ofCowen v. Thornton, 621 So.2d 684 (Fla. 2d DCA 1993).

Appellee/cross-appellant Koncelik also cross-appeals the new trial order insofar as it limited the new trial to past lost wages and past medical expenses. We also affirm on the cross-appeal.

WHATLEY and NORTHCUTT, JJ., Concur.
