Appeal and Error — Moot Questions not Determined.

Abstract or moot questions disconnected from the granting of actual relief or from the determination of which no practical result can follow, will not be determined by this Court. Greer County Election Board v. Elliott, 26 Okla. 546, 109 P. 731.

Original action in Supreme Court for writ of certiorari by Dee T. Watters against the District Court of 28th Judicial District. Contest for office of sheriff for a two-year term beginning January, 1931, and ending January, 1933. Dismissed.

E.G. Avery, D.H. Cotten, and O.F. Mason, for respondents.


The questions in this case having become moot, the case should be dismissed on the authority of Greer County Election Board v. Elliott, 26 Okla. 546, 109 P. 731. See, also, Miller v. Ury, 23 Okla. 546, 102 P. 112; Mills v. Green, 159 U.S. 651, 40 L.Ed. 293.

It is so ordered.
