555 So. 2d 983 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1990)

Opinion

No. 89-0885.

January 31, 1990.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Martin County; Dwight L. Geiger, Judge.

Richard L. Jorandby, Public Defender, and Tanja Ostapoff, Asst. Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and John Tiedemann, Asst. Atty. Gen., West Palm Beach, for appellee.

We affirm the denial by the trial court of defendant's motion to suppress. The officer had probable cause for the search based upon information furnished by a confidential informant who had previously demonstrated reliability. See Jones v. State, 498 So.2d 1359 (Fla. 2d DCA 1986).

AFFIRMED.

ANSTEAD, WALDEN and POLEN, JJ., concur.
