MARTIN H. VAN SANT, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler Judge

This case is calendared for trial on the Court's May 16, 2022, New York City, New York trial session. On April 15, 2022, respondent filed an unopposed motion for continuance. The motion states that this case has recently been assigned to an appeals officer, who has not had a sufficient opportunity to work with petitioner's counsel towards potential resolution of this case. the parties believe that a continuance of trial date will allow the Office of Appeals to consider and possibly resolve this case and allow the parties sufficient time to discuss settlement and potentially resolve the case without the need for a trial.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion for continuance is granted and this case is stricken from the May 16, 2022, New York City, New York trial session and is continued generally.
