U.S. v. Dukes

United States District Court, S.D. Ohio, Eastern Division
Oct 30, 2006
Case No. 2:06-cr-0109 (S.D. Ohio Oct. 30, 2006)

Opinion

Case No. 2:06-cr-0109.

October 30, 2006

ORDER

Defendant has moved for appointment of counsel to represent her in the interlocutory appeal filed by the United States. Currently, she is represented by retained counsel.

The motion states that defendant completed a financial affidavit when interviewed initially by Pretrial Services. That document is not on the docket and is apparently unavailable to the Court. In any event, the Court prefers an affidavit completed at or about the time that the request for counsel is made.

Based on the foregoing, the Clerk is directed to provide defendant's counsel with the appropriate form for a financial affidavit. That affidavit shall be returned to the Clerk within ten days. The Court will then consider the merits of the request to appoint counsel.
