United States District Court, S.D. Ohio, Eastern Division
Apr 10, 2006
Case No. 1:98-cr-46-1 (S.D. Ohio Apr. 10, 2006)

Opinion

Case No. 1:98-cr-46-1.

April 10, 2006

ORDER

Defendant has filed a document entitled "Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus." This document challenges the order entered by this court (Doc. # 556) revoking defendant's supervised release and sentencing him to a period of incarceration of three months, to be followed by a new period of supervised release of thirty months. The appropriate means of contesting this court's order is a direct appeal, not a collateral attack by means of a petition for writ of habeas corpus. Defendant's petition for writ of habeas corpus is therefore denied. To the extent that the petition may be construed as a request for reconsideration of this court's order or a request for bond pending appeal, these requests are also denied.
