HARVIND S. UPPAL, et. al., Petitioners, v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge.

Four of these cases were on the Court's October 25, 2021 trial calendar for San Francisco, California. Another four were then assigned to this division of the Court. The consolidated group has a massive number of substantiation issues that all parties agreed they would work on cooperatively to try to at least narrow whatever had to be tried. Respondent recently reported that progress continues to be made. The Court has no reason to move the cases to a pretrial-order track, and it is therefore

ORDERED that respondent file another status report on or before August 1, 2023 to describe the parties' progress in informal discovery, settling the cases, and narrowing the issues to be tried.
