UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. CHRISTOPHER LUM, Defendant.

SEALED ORDER

VALERIE CAPRONI, UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE

WHEREAS on September 29, 2020, the parties appeared at a change-of plea hearing;

WHEREAS Mr. Lum waived his right to an indictment by a grand jury, which was accepted by the Court;

WHEREAS Mr. Lum entered a plea of guilty, which was accepted by the Court; and

WHEREAS Mr. Lum moved to continue bail pending sentencing on the ground of extraordinary circumstances;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that due to Mr. Lum's ongoing cooperation, his sentencing is adjourned sine die. A control date is set for Monday, March 22, 2021.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that for the reasons stated at the proceeding, Mr. Lum's bail conditions are continued pending sentencing. The Court finds, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3145(c), that extraordinary circumstances exist due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to keep prison populations to a minimum, and Mr. Lum's ongoing cooperation with the Government.

SO ORDERED.
