In Re: Antonio D. Tyson, applying for supervisory writs, 22nd Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Tammany, No. 203983-1. BEFORE: , WELCH AND KLINE, JJ.
WRIT GRANTED. Considering the duty of the Covington Police Department to safeguard and return seized movable property to Antonio Tyson, see La. R.S. 15:41B, the trial court is directed to order the Covington Police Department to conduct a thorough search for the six items of personal jewelry identified by Tyson as his seized property and return the items to him or his attorney within 60 days of this order, or to provide a detailed narrative of its efforts to locate the items. The Covington Police Department .is to remain under a continuing duty to return the items if and when they are found.
