Opinion

No. AF-463.

April 29, 1982.

Appeal from an order by Deputy Commissioner David L. Trask.

Russell A. Ortmayer of Marlow, Shofi, Ortmayer, Smith, Connell Valerius, Miami, for appellants.

Jay M. Levy of Silver, Levy Hershoff, Miami, for appellee.

The deputy commissioner erred in ordering the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) to pay interest on the accrued but unpaid installments of compensation, section 631.57(1)(b), Florida Statutes (1977); Carballo v. Warren Manufacturing Company, 407 So.2d 603 (Fla. 1st DCA 1981). That portion of the order assessing interest against FIGA is hereby deleted.

The order, as modified, is otherwise AFFIRMED.

MILLS, LARRY G. SMITH and SHAW, JJ. concur.
