SHAWN TREMBLAY, Appellant v. SIMMONS BANK, TRUSTEE, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 1 Hunt County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC2100383

ORDER

CRAIG SMITH, JUSTICE

This is an appeal from a forcible detainer case. By letter dated today, the Court questioned its jurisdiction over this appeal, directed the parties to file letter briefs addressing the jurisdiction issue, and suspended the current deadline for appellant's brief on the merits. Before the Court is appellant's March 29, 2022 motion for an extension of time to file his brief on the merits. Because the deadline is currently suspended, we DENY appellant's motion as moot. Should the Court determine that it has jurisdiction over this appeal, it will set a new deadline.
