Toledo Bar Assn. v. Ritson

Supreme Court of Ohio
Sep 29, 2010
127 Ohio St. 3d 89 (Ohio 2010)

Opinion

No. 2010-0341.

Submitted June 9, 2010.

Decided September 29, 2010.

ON CERTIFIED REPORT by the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court, No. 09-027.

PFEIFER, J., concurs in the foregoing opinion.

Jonathan B. Cherry, Bar Counsel, Michael A. Bonfiglio, and Arnold N. Gottlieb, for relator.

Bradley J. Jan, for respondent.

{¶ 37} I disagree with the sanction imposed by the majority. I would impose the sanction originally requested by the bar association and recommended by the panel. Accordingly, I would indefinitely suspend respondent from the practice of law without crediting him with time served under the interim felony suspension. Therefore, I respectfully dissent.
