The named defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 220 Conn. App. 667, 300 A.3d 647 (2023), is granted, limited to the following issue:
"Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude that the city of Bridgeport complied with General Statutes §§ 12-144b and 12-195h when it applied the defendant's tax payments to current taxes owed to the city rather than to tax liens that the city had assigned to the plaintiff's predecessor in interest prior to receiving the payments at issue?"
