The judgment is to be modified by adding at the end of the text thereof the following: "subject to the provisos of G.L.c. 41, § 100C, as in effect on October 28, 1976, concerning scope of employment and representation in defense or settlement of the action." As so modified the judgment is affirmed. The plaintiffs are to have the costs of appeal.
