PRESENT:

Respondent Geoffrey Thomas having moved for permission to proceed as a poor person and for assignment of counsel on the appeals taken herein from orders of the Family Court, Steuben County, entered in the Office of the Clerk of said Court on August 27, 2015, and September 17, 2015,

Now, upon reading and filing the affidavit of Geoffrey Thomas, sworn to February 9, 2017, the notice of motion with proof of service thereof, and the affidavit of Alan P. Reed, Esq., sworn to March 2, 2017, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is hereby ORDERED that the motion is granted, and

It is further ORDERED that John A. Cirando, Esq., 101 South Salina Street, Suite 1010, Syracuse, New York 13202, is hereby assigned as counsel for respondent herein and may submit ten copies of respondent's brief reproduced in accordance with CPLR 5529, together with proof of service, on or before April 21, 2017, and the Clerk is directed to accept said briefs for filing, and

It is further ORDERED that the appeals are removed from the day calendar of this Court for April 13, 2017, and added to the calendar for the term of Court commencing May 15, 2017.
