BARRY J. SWATSENBARG & DAWN M. SWATSENBARG, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Ronald L. Buch, Judge

On May 2, 2022, this case was stricken from the Court's May 23, 2022, Detroit, Michigan trial session and remanded to the Commissioner's Office of Appeals for further consideration. On August 18, 2022, the Commissioner filed a status report to which counsel for petitioners agreed to the contents. The Commissioner informed the Court that "the administrative file recently has been located and [he] is in the process of providing that file to the appropriate settlement officer" and "that a potential jurisdictional issue may exist for this case." To keep the Court informed of the status of this case, it is

ORDERED that the parties shall file a joint status report by October 28, 2022, attaching any supplemental determination resulting from the hearing on remand. In lieu of a joint status report, either party may file a status report stating that the other party has reviewed and agreed to the content of the report.
