The defendant’s petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 221 Conn. App. 690, 303 A.3d 915 (2023), is granted, limited to the following issues:

"1. Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude that the defendant abandoned his claim that the trial court improperly had failed to apply the balancing test set forth in State v. Crespo, 190 Conn. App. 639, 211 A.3d 1027 (2019)?
"2. If the answer to the first question is ‘no,’ did the trial court’s reliance on hearsay evidence to revoke the defendant’s probation violate his due process tight to confront adverse witnesses?"

ALEXANDER, J., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
