STATE OF LOUISIANA v. THOMAS R. SMITH

In Re: Thomas R. Smith, applying for supervisory writs, 32nd Judicial District Court, Parish of Terrebonne, No. 716,177, 718,532, 718,691, and 718,693. BEFORE: McCLENDON, WELCH AND THERIOT, JJ.

WRIT DENIED. Relator's request for supervisory review is premature. In the instant writ application, relator seeks review of the denial of his application for postconviction relief. The district court ruling attached to the writ application shows that on October 16, 2017, the district court ordered the state to file procedural objections and/or an answer to the allegations in the application for postconviction relief.
