STATE OF LOUISIANA v. DUANE PARKER


In Re: Duane Parker, applying for supervisory writs, 22nd Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Tammany, No. 257,720. BEFORE: HIGGINBOTHAM, CRAIN, AND HOLDRIDGE, JJ.

WRIT DENIED. Parole eligibility is determined pursuant to La. R.S. 15:574.4 et seq. A person convicted of a third or subsequent felony offense shall not be eligible for parole. See La. R.S. 15:574.4(A)(1)(a). Accordingly, the district court did not err by denying the motion to correct an illegal sentence.
