The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 218 Conn. App. 683, 293 A.3d 68 (2023), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude, in upholding the trial court's denial of the defendant's motion to dismiss count two of the state's 2020 substitute information, that count two was not barred by the applicable statute of limitations insofar as the substitute information did not substantially broaden the original charges set forth in the state's 2018 information?"

ALEXANDER, J., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
