ORDER ON PETITION FOR FURTHER REVIEW;
Issues: (1) When a confidential reliable informant (CRI) has a prior track record of giving accurate information (veracity), first-hand personal observation of criminal activity (basis of knowledge), and police have corroborated some details of the tip, is it an error to require more corroboration of the CRI's tip to find probable cause to arrest existed? (2) In a case where the record establishes that a CRI had direct, first-hand knowledge of criminal activity, did the court of appeals err by requiring that the record include more evidence of how the CRI had personally observed the criminal conduct?; The decision of the court of appeals was vacated and the case remanded to the court of appeals for reconsideration in light of State v. Mosley, 994 N.W.2d 883 (Minn. 2023).
