ORDER

PER CURIAM

Bonette Meeks ("Defendant") appeals his convictions of murder in the second degree, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting arrest following a jury trial. Defendant asserts two points on appeal. In his first point on appeal, Defendant argues the trial court abused its discretion in excluding two exhibits—the police department’s use of force policy and Officer Michael Langsdorf's ("Officer Langsdorf") acknowledgement of the policy—because both would have supported Defendant’s self-defense claim. Defendant’s second point contends the trial court abused its discretion in admitting Officer Langsdorf's mother’s testimony because it was prejudicial in that it was merely offered to evoke sympathy from the jury.

We have reviewed the briefs of the parties and the record on appeal and find the trial court did not abuse its discretion. A written opinion would have no precedential value and would serve no jurisprudential purpose. The parties have been furnished with a memorandum, for their information only, setting forth the reasons for this order under Rule 30.25(b).
