STATE OF LOUISIANA v. BRYAN KIRBY

In Re: R.K., applying for supervisory writs, 21st Judicial District Court, Parish of Livingston, No. 35419. BEFORE: GUIDRY, PETTIGREW AND CRAIN, JJ.

WRIT NOT CONSIDERED. Relator failed to comply with Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rules 2-13, 4-3, and 4-5(C)(11), as she failed to timely file her writ application by the December 18, 2017, return date set by the district court, and failed to provide this court with a timely filed extension to the return date order. Thus, the writ application filed on March 5, 2018, appears to be untimely. Supplementation of this writ application and/or an application for rehearing will not be considered. See Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rules 2-18.7 & 4-9. In the event relator elects to file a new application with this court, the application must be filed on or before July 24, 2018. Any future filing on this issue should include the entire contents of this application, the missing item(s) noted above, and a copy of this ruling.
