The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 176 Conn. App. 156, 169 A.3d 264 (2017), is granted, limited to the following issue:
"Did the Appellate Court err in determining that the trial court properly denied the defendant's challenge under Batson v. Kentucky, 476 U.S. 79, 96–98, 106 S. Ct. 1712, 90 L.Ed. 2d 69 (1986) ?"
