Ruben Garza Jr.'s appellee's brief was due November 4, 2013; however, the court granted Garza extensions of time to file the brief, ordering it due January 3, 2014. The brief has not been filed. We order the brief must be e-filed by January 17, 2014. If the brief is not filed by the date ordered, the appeal may be set for submission without an appellee's brief.

Beginning January 1, 2014, attorneys in civil and criminal appeals are required to file all documents (except a document submitted under seal or subject to a motion to seal) with this court through the eFileTexas.gov electronic filing system.
