State v. Gallagher

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Jun 20, 1975
313 So. 2d 840 (La. 1975)

Opinion

No. 56395.

June 20, 1975.

IN RE: BETTYE GALLAGHER APPLYING FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI, PROHIBITION, MANDAMUS AND HABEAS CORPUS.

Writ refused. The showing made is insufficient to warrant the exercise of our jurisdiction.

BARHAM, J., is of opinion the writ should be granted. R.S. 14:82 proscribing "indiscriminate intercourse with males for compensation" by females is patently constitutionally deficient.
