STATE OF LOUISIANA v. BRANDON FRANCOIS

In Re: Brandon Francois, applying for supervisory writs, 21st Judicial District Court, Parish of Tangipahoa, No. 1203374. BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., McCLENDON AND HIGGINBOTHAM, JJ.

WRIT DENIED ON THE SHOWING MADE IN PART AND WRIT DENIED IN PART. Relator failed to include the uniform application for postconviction relief, the district court's ruling, the transcript of the guilty plea and sentencing proceedings, and any other pertinent documents from the district court record. Therefore, this Court cannot adequately review his third claim that the judge improperly pressured him into accepting the plea agreement. Supplementation of this writ application and/or an application for rehearing will not be considered. See Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rules 2-18.7 & 4-9. In the event relator elects to file a new application with this Court, the application must be filed on or before February 25, 2015. Any future filing on his third claim should include the entire contents of this application, the missing items noted above, and a copy of this ruling. In all other aspects, the writ application is denied.
