OFFICERS AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES, § 156indictment, sufficiency. Indictment against mayor for malfeasance in office was properly quashed, where it made blanket charges of failure to lotteries, prostitution and gambling over a period from January 1, 1938 to February 15, 1939, without alleging any knowledge on part of defendant, or where or when the violations took place or the persons or places involved.

Error to Circuit Court of Champaign county; Hon. C.Y. MILLER, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in this court at October term, 1939.
