Substitute information charging the defendant with the crimes of robbery in the first degree and stealing a firearm, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of New London and tried to the jury before J. Walsh, J.; verdict and judgment of guilty, from which the defendant appealed to this court. Affirmed.

William R. Schipul, assistant public defender, with whom, on the brief, was William Holden, public defender, for the appellant (defendant).

Lawrence J. Tytla, assistant state's attorney, with whom, on the brief, was C. Robert Satti, Sr., state's attorney, for the appellee (state).
