STATE of Connecticut v. Jayevon BLAINE

The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 179 Conn.App. 499, 180 A.3d 622 (2018), is granted, limited to the following issue:

"Did the Appellate Court properly conclude that the trial court's failure to instruct the jury in accordance with State v. Pond, 315 Conn. 451, 108 A.3d 1083 (2015), did not constitute plain error?"

ROBINSON and KAHN, Js., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
