STATE of Wisconsin, Plaintiff–Respondent, v. Xavier D. ANDERSON, Defendant–Appellant.

This ended the cross-examination. The State rested after Bell's testimony. Anderson called his single witness, whose examination was finished before the end of the day. After the jury was excused, Anderson asked to be allowed until the following morning to decide whether to rest because he was going to attempt to get a copy of the 911 call to review.
