Justin Henry SOWERS, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 437th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2018CR7490 Honorable Melisa C. Skinner, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Lori I. Valenzuela, Justice

Mary Beth Sasala is one of the court reporters responsible for preparing, certifying, and filing the reporter's record in this appeal. Ms. Sasala's reporter's record was due on October 14, 2022. On October, 23, 2022, Ms. Sasala filed a Notification of Late Record requesting an additional sixty-one days, until December 14, 2022, to file the approximately 488-page reporter's record. She also filed a letter explaining the delay in filing her record.

The request is GRANTED. Ms. Sasala is ORDERED to file the reporter's record no later than December 14, 2022. Although we are sympathetic to Ms. Sasala's reasons for the delay in filing her record, further requests for an extension of time will be disfavored.
