ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
Hope W. appeals from a district court order granting guardianship of S.C. to respondent, Kathy C. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Elizabeth Goff Gonzalez, Judge.
Notice of entry of the district court's March 17, 2017, order granting guardianship of S.C. to Kathy was filed and served on Hope via United States mail on March 24, 2017. As a result, Hope was required to file her notice of appeal no later than April 26, 2017. See NRS 159.325; NRAP 4(a)(1); NRAP 26(c). Hope filed her notice of appeal on May 9, 2017, after the time for doing so had expired. And since Hope's notice of appeal was untimely filed, we lack jurisdiction to consider this appeal. See Healy v. Volkswagenwerk Aktiengesellschaft, 103 Nev. 329, 331, 741 P.2d 432, 433 (1987) (noting that an untimely notice of appeal fails to vest jurisdiction in an appellate court). In light of our resolution of this matter, we note that we likewise lack jurisdiction to consider Hope's additional requests for relief and additional filed documents. --------
