ORDER

Defendant Wallace R. Bennett filed a motion for recusal of this court and a motion for stay of Magistrate Judge David Nuffer's December 18, 2003 Order (Dkt. # 221) granting Plaintiff's motion to compel discovery. Mr. Bennett filed his motion for recusal with respect to both Magistrate Judge Nuffer and this district court judge. Judge Nuffer has already issued his order denying Mr. Bennett's motion for Judge Nuffer's recusal and for a stay. (See Jan. 22, 2004 Order (Dkt. # 231).) Now this court also DENIES Mr. Bennett's motion for recusal and motion for stay. The reasons for the court's denial are sufficiently set forth in the opposition memorandum of Plaintiff Society of Lloyd's. (See Pl's Mem. in Opp'n. (Dkt. # 229).)

Mr. Bennett styled his pleading as "Motion Petition Asking For Recusal And Abatement, With Affidavit." (See Docket Entry No. 222.)
