MEMORANDUM OPINION


The Court's records reveal that we received a defective notice of appeal. In a letter dated September 2, 2004, appellant was informed that failure to file an amended notice of appeal would result in dismissal of this case. Appellant has not filed an amended notice of appeal.

On the Court's own motion, this case is DISMISSED for want of prosecution. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(b), (c).
