MEMORANDUM OPINION


By letter dated November 21, 2008, we notified appellant that the brief he tendered did not comply with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.1 and the letter identified the specific deficiencies in appellant's brief. On December 3, 2008, we ordered appellant to file an amended brief correcting the deficiencies within ten days, and on December 16, 2008, we ordered appellant to file his amended brief or the appeal would be dismissed. To date, appellant has not filed an amended brief correcting the deficiencies noted in the November 21, 2008 letter. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a).
