    01(1), a federal court determined that an ordinary person would be able to understand the meaning of “metal knuckles” as it is used in the statute. Small v. Bud- K Worldwide, Inc., 895 F.Supp.2d 438, 450 (E.D.N.Y. 2012), aff’d sub nom Small v. Rice, 546 Fed.Appx. 41 (2d Cir. 2013). As the court explained, “[A]n ordinary person would understand, in the context of the entire statute, that the term ‘metal knuckles’ is criminalizing a broad category of metal weapons that can be placed over multiple -16- knuckles[.]”
