S.L., Plaintiff-Respondent, v. C.M.B.A., Defendant-Appellant.

C.M.B.A., appellant pro se. Respondent has not filed a brief.

RECORD IMPOUNDED

NOT FOR PUBLICATION WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE APPELLATE DIVISION Before Judges Fisher and Currier. On appeal from the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Bergen County, Docket No. FD-02-446-14. C.M.B.A., appellant pro se. Respondent has not filed a brief. PER CURIAM

Defendant C.M.B.A. (Corinne) appeals a series of orders concerning the parties' child, C.L.; these orders awarded legal and physical custody of the child to his father, plaintiff S.L. (Stephen); terminated Stephen's obligation to pay child support; and imposed restrictions on Corinne's supervised visitation of the child. The judge conducted a number of proceedings, culminating in a transfer of custody to Stephen based on a finding, among other things, that Corinne had falsely accused Stephen of sexually molesting the child. The judge found Corinne to be "untruthful and untrustworthy" and detailed the reasons for that determination. We are obligated to defer to the judge's credibility findings. Cesare v. Cesare, 154 N.J. 394, 411-12 (1998).

In her appeal, Corinne contends, among other things and in so many words, that the judge's factual determinations were contrary to the weight of the evidence; she also makes scurrilous and unfounded attacks on the trial judge and his handling of the case. We find insufficient merit in all of Corinne's arguments to warrant further discussion in a written opinion, R. 2:11-3(e)(1)(E), and we affirm substantially for the reasons set forth in the thorough, thoughtful, and well-reasoned written opinion of Judge Keith A. Bachmann.

Affirmed. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the original on file in my office.
