979 So. 2d 219 (Fla. 2008)

Opinion

No. SC07-2441.

March 10, 2008.

Lower Tribunal No(s). 3D07-2498.

Petitioner has filed a petition for writ of mandamus. To the extent petitioner is seeking review of an order of the circuit court in Case No. 02-5430-CP-01, the petition is hereby dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. To the extent petitioner is seeking any relief regarding the appeal in Case No. 3D07-2498, the petition is hereby denied. See Huffman v. State, 813 So. 2d 10, 11 (Fla. 2000) (stating that in order to be entitled to a writ of mandamus, a petitioner must show a clear legal right to the performance of the requested act, that the respondent has an indisputable legal duty to perform that act, and that no other adequate remedy exists).

WELLS, ANSTEAD, PARIENTE, QUINCE, and BELL, JJ., concur.
