THEODORE SIMMONS, Appellant v. MIDLAND FUNDING, LLC, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 3 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. CC-19-01681-C

ORDER

Before the Court is court reporter LaToya R. Young's June 5, 2020 request for an extension of time to file the supplemental reporter's record of the September 19, 2019 bench trial. We GRANT the request and ORDER the supplemental reporter's record be filed no later than June 20, 2020. As the reporter's record was first due February 25, 2020, we caution Ms. Young that failure to file the record may result in the Court taking such action as is necessary to ensure compliance, including an order that she not sit as a reporter until the record is filed.

We note that a supplemental clerk's record ordered to be filed by May 29, 2020 has not yet been filed. Accordingly, we ORDER Dallas County Clerk John F. Warren to file the supplemental clerk's record, which should include a copy of appellant's answer filed March 28, 2018 in the justice court, no later than June 15, 2020.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Sally Montgomery, Presiding Judge of County Court at Law No.3; Janet E. Wright, Official Reporter for County Court at Law No. 3; Mr. Warren; Ms. Young; and the parties.
