On April 4, 2023, appellant filed a motion to file an amended brief to raise issues in response to appellee's brief that was filed March 22, 2023. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.7. Appellee filed an objection to appellant's motion to file an amended brief, and appellant filed a reply to appellee's objection. On October 12, 2023, appellant filed an amended brief. After considering the motion and responses, we deny appellant's motion to file an amended brief, and we strike appellant's amended brief .
