ORDER
On March 17, 2020, after appellant filed a letter explaining his attempts to request the court reporter prepare the reporter's record, we deemed the reporter's record requested and ordered Janet E. Wright, Official Court Reporter for County Court at Law No. 3, to file the record no later than April 15, 2020. Because the clerk's record reflected appellant had filed a statement of inability to pay costs in the trial court and nothing in the record reflected the trial court had ordered appellant to pay costs, we directed the reporter's record be filed without payment of costs.
When the reporter's record had not been filed by May 26, 2020, we ordered Ms. Wright to file the record by June 15, 2020. When she had failed to file it by then, we ordered it be filed by July 8, 2020 and cautioned her that failure to comply could result in an order that she not sit as a reporter until she filed the record. To date, the reporter's record has not been filed.
Because the appeal cannot proceed without the reporter's record, we ORDER Ms. Wright to file the reporter's record of the trial court proceedings no later than August 6, 2020. We further ORDER Ms. Wright not sit as a reporter until she has filed the record.
We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Sally Montgomery, Presiding Judge of County Court at Law No. 3; Ms. Wright; the Dallas County Auditor; and, the parties.
